Royal Golden Camp Policy

Welcome to Royal Golden Camp, your gateway to the enchanting Thar Desert! To ensure a pleasant and safe stay for all our guests, please review our resort policies.

Booking & Payments

  • Booking Confirmation: A minimum of 50% of the total booking amount is required to confirm your reservation.
  • Remaining Payment: The outstanding balance must be paid in full during check-in.
  • Identification: Valid ID is compulsory for every guest at check-in. Non-Indian residents must present their passports.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in Time: 04:00 PM
  • Check-out Time: 10:00 AM
  • Early Check-in/Late Check-out: These are subject to availability and will incur additional charges. Please inquire with our reception.

Occupancy & Room Policy

  • Children: Children below the age of 6 years stay free.
  • Room Capacity: Our Swiss Luxury Tents and Mud House Cottages are designed for two people. A maximum of three people are allowed, with the third person accommodating an extra mattress (chargeable). More than three people are not permitted.
  • Stag Bookings: Stag bookings are strictly not allowed. Even if a booking is confirmed through an agent or website, Royal Golden Camp reserves the right to cancel it if it violates this policy.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is based on the number of days prior to your arrival date:

  • 45 days or more: 100% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • 45-30 days: 75% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • 30-15 days: 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • 15-7 days: 25% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • 7-0 days: No refund will be issued.

Peak Season Policy (Non-Refundable):

During the following peak periods, all bookings are non-refundable regardless of the cancellation notice:

  • Diwali Season: October 19, 2025 – October 25, 2025
  • Winter Holidays & Near Year: December 23, 2025 – January 5, 2026

Resort Etiquette & Rules

  • Damage Policy: Guests are solely accountable for any damage caused to resort property during their stay.
  • Prohibited Items: Smoking, hookah, any kind of alcoholic beverages, or any food items are strictly not allowed inside rooms or tents.
  • Fire Safety: Lighting fires near tents is prohibited. Bonfires can only be enjoyed at the designated bonfire area.
  • Guest Conduct: We expect all guests to maintain the decorum of the resort, respect the privacy of other guests, and refrain from disturbing others. Any bad behavior towards other guests or artists will not be tolerated and will result in instant check-out.

Dining

  • Food Type: All food served at Royal Golden Camp is pure vegetarian.
  • Jain Food: Jain food can be prepared upon request, provided the information is given to us during check-in.
  • Breakfast Timings: 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  • Dinner Timings: 09:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Activities & Safaris

  • Cultural Folk Program: The cultural folk program runs from 07:30 PM to 10:00 PM and will not continue after that.
  • Camel Ride: A maximum of two people are allowed per camel.
  • Camel Ride Timings:
  • Evening: 04:00 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Morning: 06:00 AM to 07:00 AM
  • Jeep Safari Timings:
  • Sunset Safari: 04:00 PM to 5:30 PM
  • Sunrise Safari: 06:00 AM to 07:00 AM
  • Night Safari: After dinner
  • Jeep Safari Sharing (Peak Season): During peak season and times of heavy crowd, and as per availability, guests may be required to share a jeep with other guests to manage time and jeep shortages.
  • Private Jeep Safari: If a guest requires a private jeep for safari, it will be chargeable.
  • Adventure Activities: Royal Golden Camp and its staff members are not responsible for any mishaps that occur during adventure activities, as guests choose to participate at their own will.

Special Note on Activity Timings:

The timings provided for Jeep Safari and Camel Ride are suggested departure times from the camp to ensure you experience these activities optimally (e.g., catching the sunrise/sunset). Initiating these activities too late in the evening or morning may diminish the overall experience.
